Community Events

Education and formation are provided to parents preparing to have their child (under age 7) Baptized. Classes are held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6:30 PM in the Macon Room. Attendance is required prior to scheduling the Baptism. 

Our next class is on Wednesday, March 11th. 

Advance registration is required. Classes with no registrants may be cancelled. Contact the office at 850.492.0837 ext. 202.

We are excited to announce the 3-part Introduction to Active Parenting course. This course is intended to provide helpful information about research-based discipline practices that result in strengthening the parents' skill setwhile improving the quality of their relationship with their child or children. It will contain the opinions, ideas, and research-based findings from the instructor as well as the intellectual property of Conscious Discipline.

Family Life Center

- For families with children in Prek- 5th grade 

- $50/family of 3, $10 for each addl family member 

- Scholarships available 

- Families will gather 2-3 Sundays a month 

- Breakfast served once a month 

- Faith teaching and sharing for adults 

- Interactive and engaging faith activities for kids 

- Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for Prek-1st Grade 

- At home family faith activities 

- Family fun and fellowship days

We as a group of parents and educators, want to bring about a better world by nurturing the spirit of the child. Unlike teaching academic subjects, spiritual nurturing cannot be approached with detailed steps. In this class, we will talk about cultivating spirituality and learning a variety of ways to nurture your spirituality as a parent along with your child's. We hope that this series will bring you as parents further along in your own journey and inspire you to nurture carefully the delicate spirit of your child.
