We enroll children year-round. To officially enroll your child at our school, you will need to pay the $100 non-refundable Application Fee, the $300 non-refundable Registration and Supply Fee, and complete our Enrollment Packet. 

You can join our waiting pool by paying the $100 non-refundable Application Fee and completing our Waiting Pool Admissions Packet. You will be notified via email once a space is available at our school. Wait times will vary. 

We use a waiting pool rather than a waitlist because we have children who receive priority regardless of when they submit their paperwork. For this reason, we do not have a numerical “list” of children or accept children on a “first come, first serve” basis. We do rolling admissions year-round and will reevaluate our waiting pool when a space becomes available. Our waiting pool will be prioritized according to the following:

• A sibling is currently attending the Academy
• The parent of the child is currently employed by the Academy or the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit
• The family is a contributing parishioner of the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit or another Catholic Parish. The parent of the child is currently employed by the Pensacola-Tallahasse’s Diocese or another Catholic Parish.
• Application date-prioritized by whoever has been on the list longest

Children can attend the Academy starting at six weeks old through six years of age. 

You can reserve your child's space before they are six weeks old to ensure they can attend when they turn six weeks old.

Classroom placement is based on a child's developmental needs, attaining milestones, and an ideal classroom environment that fosters their natural curiosity and progression. Our classrooms are designed to support multiple age ranges to honor a child's unique learning path. 

You will receive our Official Notice of Enrollment via email when a space becomes available at the Academy. When a space is offered, you will have 48 hours to accept or decline the space. The Official Notice of Enrollment will outline our enrollment procedures and additional information about New Parent Orientation, Ages and Stages Questionnaires, and our New Student Checklist. 

To reserve a space at the Holy Spirit Child Developmental Academy, parents are required to pay the $100 non-refundable Application Fee, the $300 non-refundable Registration and Supply fee, and tuition. Tuition will be charged once a space is accepted to officially reserve the space for a family. 

We do not have a Voluntary PreKindergarten (VPK) program. Our Primary Classroom (three to five-year-old classroom) supports children until they attend Kindergarten.

We are required to have the Florida Certification of Immunization Form (DH 680) on file for all students. We do not accept religious exemptions. 

We cannot accept any other forms. If you do not live in Florida, you will need to contact the Escambia County Health Department to transfer your child's immunization records to the Florida Shots system. You will be able to obtain a Florida Certification of Immunization Form once your child's records have been transferred. For more information, please click here.

Yes, we are required to have the Florida School Entry Health Exam Form (DH3040) on file for all students. 

If you do not live in Florida, your child's current primary physician can complete the form. Please click here to download the form.

Our academic day begins at 8:30 AM and ends at 3:00 PM each day. We offer flexible drop-off and pick-up for all families. 

Drop-off begins at 7:00 AM and ends at 8:25 AM. 

Pick-up begins at 3:00 PM and ends at 6:00 PM. However, children can be picked up at any time.
