We believe that each child should be honored for his/her own talents and abilities and is created by God, in his image. Our belief is by partnering with the parents, who are the child’s first teachers, children learn to love Jesus first and love one another by helping each child to foster his /her relationship with God. This allows the child to understand and recognize that God loves him/her.
Holy Spirit Development Academy has established a child centered, developmentally appropriate, active environment in which children are presented a curriculum and materials which they can work at independently or guided by teachers in the long-standing tradition of Catholic education. Holy Spirit Child Development Academy provides children a rich opportunity to achieve their full Human potential through the development of positive self-image, self-motivation, creative acts of independence and cognitive learning within the prepared environment of the academy.
We follow the Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards to create curriculum that is specific to each child and their cognitive, social-emotional, motor, and language needs.
Our staff and teachers are dedicated educators that aid in the development of your child through Christ-centered education.
The Holy Spirit Child Development Academy provides a safe and nurturing environment for the development of children and families in our community through Christ-centered childcare and preschool programs, in the longstanding tradition of Catholic excellence.

Ms. Erica was at HSCDA before we officially opened in 2018 by volunteering to set up classrooms and assemble materials. She continued to volunteer after the school opened by working in the infants and one-year-old classroom and was later offered the position of front desk administrative assistant. She worked as an administrative assistant for a year before deciding to go into the classroom to teach in the Purple Room. Erica has always loved to teach and has volunteered in several elementary schools as a teacher's aide. After six months of teaching in the Purple Room, she was asked to return to the front office as the office manager. She loves seeing how much children develop and grow during their time at the Academy. Having been in both an administrative and classroom setting, she believes that she has a unique skill set to offer. Erica currently resides in Germany and works remotely as our admissions coordinator and billing manager. Outside of work, she is studying music production and audio engineering. She enjoys spending time outdoors and baking.
